Policies Liability Policy Management reserves the right to decline any order deemed out of the ordinary in terms of service or special handling. Our liability is limited to providing the service specified only and we are not responsible for the failure of shippers other than as specified in their respective service guidelines. While we all strive for perfection, mistakes do happen, for example: • shippers deliver late • an order may arrive with the wrong item packed • the color of an item may not fit the decorating job for which it was intended • occasionally our customers will mistakenly order the wrong item –instances like these will be handled on a case-by-case basis. We will be happy to correct any errors on our part by replacing items or crediting the purchase price. In order to minimize the impact of errors, we suggest that you place your orders with sufficient time to correct mistakes, and that you open boxes as soon as they arrive to ensure that you have in fact received what you expected. Your sole and exclusive remedy against U.S. Balloon is limited to the return and to the replacement of said merchandise. You shall have no right against U.S. Balloon for incidental or consequential damages, like loss of expecting party-decorating profits, etc. U.S. Balloon will only be responsible for replacing or picking up late or damaged merchandise, and is not responsible for loss of profits. Also, please note that TYPOES HAPPIN. U.S. Balloon is not liable for typographical errors. Discrepancies and Requests for Credit Any request for credit due to discrepancies between what was ordered and what was shipped must be made within five business days from the date of delivery. Call Customer Service at 800.285.4000. Quality Policy U.S. Balloon is committed to supplying only first quality merchandise. As with any product in the novelty business, especially with balloons, there is a small percentage of incidental damage arising from handling and displaying of the product. As a result, U.S. Balloon does not issue credit for miscellaneous or accumulated product defects. Manufacturer’s defects are another issue. We will replace merchandise or credit your account–no questions asked. Please call Customer Service at 800.285.4000 to notify us. Returns Unauthorized returns will not be accepted. There will be a 25% restocking charge for refused orders. Damaged Delivery Check your boxes for damage before you sign for them. If there is outer carton damage, mark “damaged” on the driver’s record when you sign. Call Customer Service immediately for instructions on how to file a claim. You can also refuse the shipment due to damage. Please call Customer Service immediately if you refuse the order. Call Customer Service at 800.285.4000. Shortages and Incorrect Items Upon delivery, open your boxes immediately. Claims for shortages, damage or incorrect items must be made within five business days from date of delivery.
