I have to be in business to purchase products from U.S. Balloon? Yes. U.S. Balloon is a Business-to-Business distributor. We do
not sell to individuals, but would be happy to refer you to a retailer
in your area.
Did you receive my order? A confirmation email is sent when an order is entered into our system for all customers with valid email addresses. If you haven’t received a confirmation email, you can call U.S. Balloon at 800.285.4000 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Please be prepared with your account # when you call. We’ll let you know whether we’ve received your order.
I place an order on the web? Yes. Simply visit www.usballoon.com to set up a U.S. Balloon Web Ordering account and start shopping.
just placed my order 5 minutes ago, can I add to it? No, sorry. Our order-filling process is designed for maximum speed and efficiency. Same-day shipping is our priority!
Delivery How long will it take to receive my
order? We offer same-day shipping for orders placed before 5pm EST and there is no extra charge for this service. Orders placed after 5pm EST are shipped the next business day.
delivery time is based on standard UPS Ground Service. Shipping times vary based on location within the U.S.; deliveries are made typically within one to five business days from day of shipment. Some products are not included in standard ground service delivery; these products are shown with icons indicating the estimate delivery time.
can I track my order once it ships? We automatically email invoices along with tracking numbers for all customers with valid email addresses. If you haven’t received this email, call The Balloon People at 800.285.4000. Please be prepared with your account #, ship-to location (if you have more than one store) and your order # when you call. We’ll provide you with your tracking #, as well as update you on the current location of your order.
I pick up my order? Sure! We offer pick-up orders for our local customers. To arrange for a pick-up order, your order must be placed and credit-cleared by 12pm EST. You must indicate the order is for ‘Pick Up’ at the time the order is placed. Your order will be finished by 4pm. Pick-Up times are Monday through Friday from 4pm - 5pm only. No exceptions.
Payment Information What methods
of payment do you accept? 1. Net Terms. Apply for a credit limit by filling out the Credit
Application. Our Credit Department will let you know their decision within one hour.
2. Credit Cards.Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover. Please have the credit card number, expiration date, security code, the name on the card, and the billing address ready when you call to place an order.
3. Check by Phone.Just have your bank
account#, routing#, and check# ready.
4. Auto-Pay.First, apply for a credit
limit and then download and
fill out the Auto-Pay form. We'll set up your credit
card or bank account to be automatically debited according to your billing terms.

Can I reserve merchandise to ship at a later
date? Yes. When placing orders by phone, tell your Customer Service Representative when you'd like your order to arrive at your store, and we'll schedule it. For fax and email orders, indicate your requested in-store arrival date. You won't be billed until your merchandise ships.

I imprint my own text or image on a balloon? Yes. You can print on foil or latex. Check out our custom imprinting options at www.usballoon.com/imprint.
Helium Usage How much does helium cost to fill my balloons? Download our Interactive Helium Chart at www.usballoon.com/forms/instructions. Simply enter your helium costs and the chart will automatically update the cost of filling mylar and latex balloons.
How much helium is needed to fill an 18" foil balloon? An 18" foil balloon takes .45 cubic feet of helium.
many 18" foil balloons will a standard helium tank fill? A standard helium tank holds 291 cubic feet of helium and fills
between 450 and 500 18" foil balloons.
how long will an 18" foil balloon float? Average float time for an 18" foil balloon is about a week.
much helium is needed to fill an 11" latex balloon? An 11" latex balloon takes .5 cubic feet of helium.
how long will an 11" latex balloon float? Average float time for an 11" latex balloon is 8-10 hours,
unless treated with Super or Ultra HI-FLOAT®.
If I fill a mini foil (4-inch, 9-inch or 14-inch) will it float? Nope. Foil balloons smaller than an 18-inch will not float with helium. They
are intended for air-inflation only and are generally sold at retail attached
to cups and sticks.
You can purchase mini foils already inflated, or uninflated. If you purchase them uninflated, you’ll need an air-inflator, heat-sealer and cups and sticks. If you purchase them inflated, the cups are attached and the sticks included.
